I was selected to join Certified Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) within my first 2 years of working at GEO. Once being in C.E.R.T. I was personally selected by my commander to participate in the Operation Lone Star, where I worked alongside I.C.E., I.C.E. SRT, Border Patrol, and Customs and Border Protection. Upon being in Operation Lone Star we transported detainees from the United States to Haiti by plane for a constant three week period.
