My time at Home Depot has allowed me to grow in many aspects in my career. As a Pro associate I have been able to develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors to help create shareholder value. I learned the value of teamwork and treating associates with respect, that way we can work together to get our Pros out the door and back to their job. As a Head Cashier I developed my leadership skills by leading a large team of cashiers to help customer satisfaction. I encouraged and succeeded in pushing my cashiers to meet all their metric goals. As a head cashier my goal everyday was to make loyal customers by giving them a great experience, and I worked with my team to succeed in that goal everyday. As a Flooring Sales Specialist, this job has encouraged me to gain product knowledge in order to help the customer and encourage the customer to choose Home Depot as their provider. I am dedicated into making the customer satisfied in choosing Home Depot as their provider to help make their dream home. I am encouraged to meet my sales goal every week and making good customer relationships is the first step in that direction.
