I have been working at Brighton for just over a year now and love that place. I have slowly worked up the ranks while constantly meeting new great people. In the summer’s I work under the head Chef to help prepare for weddings and events.
Ken’s Body works was a school bus depot and also a mechanic shop. My friends Dad owned it and was kind enough to let me get my start with him. I worked with a couple of amazing guys that helped me get my hands moving.
I was taken on the Mechanic team at Contender with a lot to learn. I worked with an amazing older gentleman named Jim who was my mentor. I left Contender making my way up the ladder to become an official A mechanic. All positive experiences, it was time to move on.
In August of 2023, with the help of my parents who live back on the east, I was able to buy a house. The house was amazing but needed 3-4 months work of gutting and rebuilding. Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had. Between the work I did myself and the relationship I built with contractors, it was very fulfilling. Now to see my friends hanging out and enjoying life in a space I created, it’s truly amazing.
