I have no real job experience; I am at entry level where I hope no experience is welcomed at the hiring job. I want to work somewhere where I can learn and grow as an employee. I am a great people person and work well with others, I have good management skills where I am organized, adaptable and will get the job done at hand. In my vocational shop I am business communications certified and will use this when speaking with customers and other associates. I am looking for a part time job where I can work after school.

As a person with a mentor, my mentor is meant to help me, and guide me into finding what career suits me and my interests. My mentor also helps me with life skills and lessons, which can help me if I ever need advice about work or life in general. I also have the benefit of real-life workshops that help us get a better understanding or farther our understanding in things like college, saving money, how to keep a stable job and income, resume building workshops etc...

Junior Achievement Competiton

This was a competition through my vocational shop in which it was a simulation of a stock market. In preparation for the challenge, we had to learn about what stocks are and how they work. We played simulations of the stock market and learned how to navigate them in preparation for the competition. The experience teaches you how to prioritize money, time, and accuracy; it also taught us how to work under pressure and in high-stress situations.

Reading

I enjoy reading often and I read all sorts of genres, sci-fi, dystopian, rom-coms, thrillers etc... I read for personal enjoyment and when I have to read for class I also enjoy expanding the types of novels I read.
