I started as a management trainee in banking and ended up owning and managing my own bank.
I have always enjoyed owning and maintaining an RV, so I purchased an RV park.
After selling the park and moving to Arizona, I became bored and went to work for a newspaper as a proof reader, then sold advertising, then became manager of the book store.
I left the newspaper when we moved back to Colorado, Fort Collins, because of my wife's health.
I worked part-time for the decennial census for two years.

The business consisted of an RV park, miniature golf course, RV rentals and sales.
