- At ENTEK I worked the pelletizer, the pelletizer is an extruder that mixes up reused material and makes the material into pellets, that fills up a silo that also feeds the machines throughout the plant. I would have to maintain the machine and the area like some shifts I would have to shut off the machine to do a routine blade change. Daily I would sweep, mop, and refill the black sheet room with wasted material that I’d use throughout the day to keep the blender full for the pelletizer. Also document hourly machine progress. If the silo is low sometimes I’d have to use the squeeze forklift to dump boxes of extra pellets into another lil silo to fill up the big silo so we can keep up with plant usage.
