My studies gave me knowledge about high level science, anatomy, and physiology courses that I will carry into my career. While working as an Orthopedic Technician I learned time management, organization, communication, interpersonal skills, and orthopedic skills. Research taught me about another side of medicine that gave me a unique perspective. Through my volunteering I learned the importance of giving back to the community.

- Through my membership in the Pre-PA club at Michigan State University and outside of it I gained volunteer opportunities that helped connect me to my community. I volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, Blood drives, at a local hospital to make blankets, and at food banks.
