Hired as a Dental Consultant to assist practices in restructuring and optimizing best practices for both patient care and staff culture. Specialize in analyzing current billing and insurance practices, fee schedules, case presentation, and overall structure of the operations of the practices. Worked directly with Owners and management team creating structures internally to ensure practices were stable and work culture enhanced. My contributions also included HR support and recruitment support for all needed support staff including professionals. Responsible for the transition of Southwest Dental Group to Gentle Dental following acquisition of our company. Transitioning from private to public and hired on a contractual basis to lead the transition on behalf of Southwest Dental Group. Following this transition I had a non compete restricted covenant which had to be fulfilled before working in the industry again.
Responsible for operations for all locations including the hiring of all dental professionals and specialists. Appointed second executive to the CEO. Managed 320 employees including the administrative sector which consisted of HR, accounting, finance, and clinical quality. Responsible for managing $24-$38million in annual revenue with CEO & CFO.
Sold Southwest Dental Group & Del Sol Dental Plan to Interdent Service Coproration.
Responsible for operations/revenue for all dental locations, spearheaded and managed buildouts and expansion locations. Generated increase of revenue and developed very strong upper and middle management teams across the company. Start up and development of 2 owner Del Sol Dental Plan (internal dental plan) with CEO.
Responsible for overseeing operations and handling of new partnerships and acquisitions. Recruited professionals for expanding business growth and needs. Appointed to the company's Executive Committee which consisted of 5 owners. Advanced to handling largest vendor accounts with CFO and became the liaison to our legal team.
Initially hired to handle patient scheduling and dental assisting. Worked part time as a patient service representative while attending college.
Promoted to oversee the company's largest practice at the time in Tempe, Az. the practice serviced over 350 patients a day with both general dentistry & orthodontics. Handled creating the first blue print for time scheduling and patient retention that would be used for growth and development in the future.
