Controls exits and entry to doors,hallways,stairwells,elevators and sally ports; controls and monitors access to and movement within the detention facility by operating remote control panels for gates and doors and by checking identification of persons entering/exiting control areas; Monitors safety of deputies,visitors and inmates.

Prepares,completes and/or maintains various forms,reports and or logs why may include chronological activities,incidents and accidents. Maintains a comprehensive ,current knowledge and awareness of applicable law/regulations attends workshops and training sessions as appropriate.
