Drove forklift loading and unloading trucks and delivering parts within the facility to their proper location.

Work as needed to get hours to be eligible for union membership. Keep track of containers as they are off loaded and loaded onto container ships and keeping track of the containers placement on the yard.

• Prepared mortar mixes and staged brick, block, and stone for daily masonry installation.
• Set scaffold, ladders, and work areas to support safe, efficient masonry operations.
• Assisted masons with laying block, brick, and veneer to maintain straight, level courses.
• Cut masonry materials with saws and hand tools to match project specifications.

• Cleaned joints, removed excess mortar, and finished surfaces for consistent appearance.
• Inspected work areas for hazards and followed safety procedures on active construction sites.
• Loaded, unloaded, and organized materials to keep crews supplied and projects moving.
• Mentored new laborers on tool handling, material prep, and jobsite expectations.
• Mixed mortar, plastic and grout according to standard formulas.
