Feeder Equipment Specialist / Dispatch Supervisor

- Oversee all equipment needs for the Independence Building for sorts lineup, CPU’s, contractors, sleeper teams, meet points, etc
- Dispatch drivers to various locations to obtain empty units to ensure all equipment needs are met for each operation
- Work to reduce cost by researching and returning container units, chassis, and other rail equipment to the appropriate locations and rail yards before detention charges are accrued
- Work with yard control to ensure correct equipment is put up for each lineup to meet rail plans, sleeper moves, meet points, and other building specific equipment needs to help reduce cost
- Work with corporate to research, monitor, track down, and obtain missing and/or misused carrier equipment for JB Hunt, JNJ Express, Double Diamond, SWIFT, JP Logistics, etc
- Work with yard drivers, automotive, and other 3rd party contractors to ensure all P-tagged / red tagged equipment is repaired and functional for use
- Send daily reports on equipment needs, schedules vs actual, shorts from meet points, rental units, etc
- Control costs by working with Coyote by staging and arranging pickup / termination of specific lease rental equipment
- Oversee 300 peaks rental units delivered to Texas Motor Speedway during peak season
