Plans, directs, manages, coordinates and monitors Hemodialysis/Hemapheresis Services activities. Ensures department operates within budget and in accordance with performance standards. Develops and implements strategic goals and objectives to maintain high quality patient care services. Accountable for the quality and service outcomes of the units within the department.

Responsible for supervising nursing students in the clinical environment. Also responsible for evaluating the clinical performance of the student and grading all clinical assignments. Provide students clinical instruction in (their) designated clinical specialty; orient to the assigned clinical facility and Simulation Lab modules.

Directs the allocation of resources within selected areas through planning, budget process, analysis of statistical reports and other pertinent information. Directs and supervises nursing staff. Develops, implements, and coordinates continuous quality/ performance improvement to enhance clinical practice and administrative process. Supports clinical research and conducts or participates in studies to improve clinical, educational and organizational performance within the clinical service line.

Acts as a consultant for staff of acquired clinic in field of clinical practices, professional development and development of program.
