Working in customer service I've learned how crucial it is to listen, actively and solve problems with a positive attitude. Every day I focused on making sure people felt hurt and left satisfied whether I was answering the question or sorting out a tricky situation. It taught me a lot about clear, communication and staying calm under pressure.
Then, as a caregiver, my perspective shifted to a much more personal kind of service. I was directly responsible for someone's well-being, helping with daily tasks and providing companionship this role, truly emphasize empathy, patience, and building trust it's incredibly rewarding to know you're making a direct positive impact on someone's life and it's showed me the profound importance of compassion and reliability.
