Ensure day-to-day operations as planned and according to applicable laws and regulations.
Supervise and evaluate direct care staff. Set work schedules. Set clear expectations and performance standards. Provide timely feedback and rewards to personally motivate staff.
Provide weekly informational meetings to go over work scheduled, materials,requisitions, activities, special needs, operational or safety concerns.
Encourage, monitor, and record Consumer's participation in program activities. Recommend and implement changes to Consumer's program activities as necessary to achieve stated objectives. Notify Administrator immediately, if Consumer's behavior in program activities appears not to comply with their stated goals and expectations.
Plan, lead, coordinate, and implement program activities such as daily living activities, craft projects, cards and board games, outings, current events discussions, dance classes low impact aerobics and fine arts.
Ensure Consumer is safely engaging in activities. Maintain monthly, quarterly progress notes, evaluate the Consumer's changing needs and recommend necessary program adjustments to Administrator.
Attend IPP review meetings to provide input regarding Consumer's progress.
Ensure activities and program are performed according to existing policies and procedures.
