I feel like I would be a good match to work in a cabinet shop due to my existing knowledge of how to safely and effectively use most all power/hand tools to ensure a quality finished product. I only have minimum experience actually building cabinets, however I am a quick learner and enjoy any chance I can to learn new skills. I have a very high level of attention to detail and take pride in all work that I do. I have a proven track record of being an effective member of a team, or working individually, whichever the job requires.
Self employed in the Residential Construction Field. Responsibilities would include finding/bidding my own jobs, assisting others in finding jobs to work together with a group of as many as 6 other subcontractors working together to get jobs done. Work has been primarily framing new construction builds, siding, and doing the finish/trim work. I have been able to keep myself busy since late 2017 with no advertising, just word of mouth. Duties also include material estimating, coordinating with general contractors/homeowners, and ensuring all work performed would meet or exceed building code requirements.
My main job at Griffin Builders was installing all trim in high end custom homes to include baseboard, casing, crown moulding, installing doors and window jambs as needed. Also have experience with accent walls, coffered ceilings, installing decorative beams, and much more. Accomplish tasks using a wide variety of power/hand tools safely and accurately to ensure a quality finished product. Also gained skills working either individually or with a small team to get the job done.
Main job as a Heavy Equipment Operator was being trained to use a variety of different machines to safely perform any task ranging from earth moving projects to basic material handling as needed.
