Self-motivated, dependable, excellent communication and relationship building skills, fast learner with a high energy level.
I have traveled to 52 countries, lived in Indonesia, the Netherlands and USA, 44 cruises from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, I have gained a lot of wisdom and knowledge from meeting people and learning about other cultures.
As a continuation of tsunami relief, I started a handbag factory in Aceh province, Sumatra, Indonesia, with 12 survivors.
Today we help over 400 and since the inception of LAGA we have been given all of our profits back to help more less fortunate.
Our products made it on the Oprah Show April 13, 2010.
I developed the company from scratch, took charge of sales, marketing, management, social media, logistics, import-export/international trade and whatever needs to be done.
I was in charge of bringing volunteer teams from Saddleback church and other churches, to the area devastated by earthquake/tsunami of December 26, 2004. The capital city of Banda Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia, was the hardest hit, over 170,000 people died and over 90 miles of coastline destroyed. Families lost children, sisters, brothers and parents, so much tragedy, destruction and devastation.
People from around the world came and helped, and this area became the greatest relief in history.
We brought food, built temporary housing (tents), clothing, and delivered safe drinking water to protect children and their families from deadly water born diseases.
All my God given abilities, education and skills were used around the clock and I have been back and forth from LA to Indonesia 33 times. We helped many of the less fortunate get back on their feet, what an honor and privilege it was to help those in need.
