Work History

Medical Office Coordinator

Signature Healthcare
Brockton, Massachusetts
07.2024 - Current
  • As a MOC, I managed daily administrative operations, including patient scheduling, verifying insurance, and EHR documentation. I served as a mediator between patients and their providers, and ensured smooth coordination between clinical and administrative teams through clear communication, while strictly maintaining HIPAA compliance. This position required managing dual responsibilities: registering patients for their appointments, and handling a high volume of administrative tasks for multiple physicians and nurse practitioners.

Shift Leader/ Barista

City Brew Co.
Billings, Montana
07.2018 - 05.2020
  • I was responsible for reconciling tills and cleaning the store at the end of the night. During my shifts, I was primarily responsible for maintaining environmental and food safety, making sure my team was on task and efficient, and ensuring customer satisfaction. I would also assist in the training of new baristas, and serve as a barista myself- taking orders, making a variety of drinks, and handling all monetary transactions.

Certified Nurse Assistant

Billings Clinic
Billings, Montana
08.2019 - 10.2019
  • As a CNA, it was required of me to provide high-quality personal care to patients, such as personal hygiene activities, assisting with ambulation, checking glucose levels, measuring vital signs three times a day, and making sure every activity was documented for each patient. It was also my priority as a CNA to be compassionate toward patients and minimize discomfort by providing privacy when helping with personal care, such as bathing, helping with bedpan changes, or emptying drainage bags. It was my responsibility to help patients in whatever way they needed me to.

Caregiver

Patient Home
Billings, Montana
09.2018 - 11.2018
  • Twice a week, I provided overnight care for an elderly woman in her home. When I arrived in the evening, I would complete whatever practical tasks she needed done such as: doing her laundry, disposing of trash, taking in her mail, unpacking and storing her groceries, and doing the dishes. Some nights we would sit together watching football games, other nights if she wanted to talk, I would listen to her fascinating life stories. After a few months, her health deteriorated to the point where she had to move to a nursing home.
