Work History

Auto Claims Adjuster

Travelers
Scottsdale, AZ
05.2024 - 02.2026

After spending my first 1.5 years in Claim with Travelers Auto Claim unit (Franklin TN, May '24 to October '25), I moved into the Workers' Compensation unit in November 2025 as we made the move from TN back to AZ. My success in each position was based heavily on utilizing my resources to answer questions, and each role involved an unpredictable daily slate of events.

  • Analyze claims to ensure compliance with company policies and state statutes.
  • Daily use of CCC Estimating software to write estimates, evaluate repair/replace auto operations, and virtually determine total loss status of both Travelers and third-party vehicles.
  • Conduct liability investigations as the last line of defense when determining negligence in automobile incidents.
  • Evaluate medical documentation and coordinate with internal nurses/legal/investigative services to determine claim compensability and appropriate benefit levels.
  • Communicate regularly with injured workers, employers, body shops, other insurance companies, and healthcare providers to gather necessary information.

General Manager of Food Service

Jeremiah's Italian Ice
Nashville, TN
10.2022 - 05.2024

Upon moving to the Nashville area, I was given an amazing opportunity to open Mt Juliet's first Jeremiah's Italian Ice location, which was also just the second store of its kind in TN. I led my first store opening, and built our team from the ground up, hiring 20+ employees, conducting all training, and securing and developing vendor relationships. I was able to work on my community and marketing exposure, while also fostering amazing relationships with schools in the community. As a franchise, this position gave me almost no upward mobility, but everyday was a new challenge, and it was a total blast!

  • Oversee daily operations ensuring high-quality food service standards and customer satisfaction
  • Developed schedules and implemented training programs for staff to enhance service efficiency and product knowledge
  • Streamlined inventory management processes using POS systems to reduce waste and optimize stock levels
  • Analyzed annual and seasonal data to identify trends, inform menu adjustments, and increase profitability of the store

General Manager of Food Service

Pita Jungle
Flagstaff, AZ
05.2009 - 05.2022

As Pita Jungle prepared to open its Flagstaff location in May of 2009, I was hired on as a dishwasher, as I needed a summer job. I remained in a prep cook / line cook position throughout college, until I was promoted to the Assistant Manager role in 2015. After a gap in my time here at Pita Jungle (I taught English in Korea from 2016-2017, and returned home to work as a Retail/Warehouse Supervisor at Coors Field for the 2018 season), I resumed my Assistant Manager post from 2018-2021, where I was then promoted to the General Manager position. My wife and I moved out to Nashville in 2022, so I finally wrapped up my Pita Jungle career after over a decade spent with the company across 2009-2022.

  • Handled the hospitality component of the restaurant, training staff on service nuances while simultaneously managing the back-of-house staff in an open kitchen
  • Weekly food, alcohol, beverage, and office supply orders
  • Inventory and Payroll, conducted bi-weekly
  • Implemented all recipes and conducted food handling training in coordination with new company initiatives
  • Onboarding, training, and scheduling of all staff, as well as the training of future managers (as well as the current GM, as of February 2026)
