I also have experience with probing systems as well. Familiarity with typical measurement instruments such as Calipers, Micrometers, Gage Blocks/Pins, Optical Comparators as well as go/no go gages. I am still currently in school getting certified in Metrology to complete the certificate in Precision Machining Technology. Whilst I may not have any traditional shop experience before trade school I was prepared well by the schools instructors. Previous work background was in Customer Service and Management. So am I am already familiar as to what it takes to work as a team and communicate at a high level. I decided to change career paths because I have a passion for working with my hands and making things happen. Nothing is more satisfying to me than seeing a 2D part come together in a 3D space with skill and precision.
