Accomplishments

System Design for a ChatBot:

  • Worked closely with stakeholders to design and build an AI ChatBot system from the ground up, taking a business's loosely defined goals and turning them into something concrete and functional.
  • Thoroughly examined both the technical and user-facing requirements, pinpointing the target users of the system and what they would need from it — captured through use cases and user stories.
  • Mapped out flow lanes and interactions of the different entities, ultimately pulling then all together into a clear conceptual model that showed how the key pieces of the system connected and relied upon one another.

SQL Database Creation:

  • Tasked with assisting a (fictional) business that was struggling to keep its logistics, inventory, and payroll operations running smoothly, by designing and building a tailored SQL database in Oracle from scratch.
  • Carefully sorted through the data, chose the right data types, and organized everything into well-structured tables that suited each department — proceeded to the test stage by crafting SELECT statements and query checks to make sure it performed as expected.
  • Upon completion of final review, migrated the database to the Cloud through Amazon Web Services (AWS), giving the business a reliable and scalable solution with which they could expand.
