  • I got hired by Hotel Management and Consulting to be the General Manager of the first Woodspring Suites in Tucson by Choice Hotels
  • I oversaw making sure that the construction of the hotel and punch list was completed up to the timeline that was projected
  • Successfully prepared and organized the grand opening of the property making it one of the best in the Tucson Marketplace area since the business opened according to the neighbors that visited the event
  • I recruited, trained, and coached our team
  • Training had to happen before the system was even installed so had to train them as I was still being trained in the system as well
  • After 60 days of opening reach 14 consecutive nights of selling out with an average Occupancy of 85% for the first year
  • Multiple months awarded the reward of the top property since opening by reaching our online review goals and social media
  • The District Manager position for my area was offered to me by my CEO
  • I had to reject the offer at this moment due to not being able to relocate at the moment
  • Training property, I was selected to train the new General Managers as they get hired with our company to onboard them and certify them in two weeks.

  • Finish the year in the Top 3 Overall Service Medallia First-year nominated for GM of the year
  • Produced a year of zero complaints for the year reaching #1 for the company and the area
  • Medallia Scores reached the highest Score in the Company 8.5

  • Our property scored 93% in the audit program which is the highest score for the property since it was opened

  • I was attending the regional biweekly call with the Regional Vice President of Studio 6 and the Directors of Operations providing feedback on things that will work for the organization as a General Manager.
