My daily duties were to handle people coming in and make sure they were sat in a timely manner, I also made sure customers had their checks and rang them up, I bussed tables, ran food and made sure that a list was used when we were busy and there was a wait.
My duties as a server was to make sure my section was taken care of with things such as taking food orders, serving their drinks and food, food running, and checkout.
I had many jobs such as, creating dessert specials for the week, also plated pizzas, salads and desserts when orders were rang in. I also baked large amounts of desserts or baked goods for events. I even helped the banquet side of the restaurant in cooking and plating dishes for large parties. I also assisted in any areas that needed help such as sauté and grill.
