Throughout my career, I have consistently sought opportunities to grow as both a leader and an educator. One of my proudest accomplishments is earning my Master of Arts in History while working full-time in a leadership role, demonstrating my commitment, time management, and perseverance. My graduate research culminated in a published thesis examining the impact of the Enrique "Kiki" Camarena case on Mexico's drug war, strengthening my research, analytical, and written communication skills. Professionally, I have successfully led and developed teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment by training employees, coordinating daily operations, and fostering a collaborative workplace focused on exceptional customer service. In addition, my years of teaching Sunday School have allowed me to mentor young learners, develop engaging lessons, and build meaningful relationships with students and families. These accomplishments reflect my dedication to continuous learning, leadership, and making a positive impact on those around me.
I am passionate about education and committed to creating positive learning environments where students feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to succeed. In addition to earning my Master of Arts in History, I am currently pursuing my California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Social Science to further my goal of becoming a dedicated educator. My professional leadership experience has strengthened my communication, organization, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, while my years of volunteering as a Sunday School teacher have reinforced my passion for mentoring and working with young people. I am eager to contribute these skills to Capistrano Unified School District and to support the academic and personal success of every student while continuing to grow as an educator and leader.
