Samantha Hardegree Kernicki

I've worked here the rest of the year I've been in Florida! I started as a server but moved my way up to bartending. I've had much experience helping out all around the restaurant from hosting, bussing and serving to making the drinks and I even did a little training in the Gaucho station.

I worked at Pub 52 briefly when I first moved down here, but it was never a temporary position because I was looking for something different than what they did but it was a good place to get started in Florida!

• I have currently been working as a fine dining server in this Country Club Golf Course in Clayton, GA. My duties include extensive knowledge of our wine and dinner menus and the ability to execute a wonderful dining experience for any guest. I am very organized and well trained in my field. I have continued my training in bartending on the side.

• I worked here for a brief time after my previous job (The Root and Barrel) had sold their restaurant to the chophouse. I helped establish the restaurant as it is and while working as a server, I also did the books at night when closing and handled the deposits. I was also responsible for handling guest complains and computer comps. This is also where I started to learn how to bartend.

• This was my second job as a waitress and also my longest job since I started working. My responsibilities included opening/closing and serving. I was responsible for making sure others did their job properly. Sometimes I would expedite or I would be a hostess if the situation demanded.

• This was the first place I started waitressing where I really started to learn more about fine dining food as well as my wine and liquor knowledge. I worked here for a year almost and only stopped because they sold to J.R. chophouse.
