* From 4th- 9th grade I was in sports. Soccer, track, and I was a cheerleader. I was a defender and midfielder in soccer because I enjoyed running and knew how to use my body to defend the ball and myself. During track I was a sprinter and hurdler. Hurdles is the second most hardest event in track because you have to leap over the hurdle. One wrong move causes you to fall and hurt yourself. Learning how to leap over an object seems easy from affair , but once you are doing you think to yourself "How do people do this without hitting yourself". This events takes skills and practice . Cheer was more fun because I was able to dress up, do my makeup, and gossip with all the girls on the team. Being in different sports helped me communicate with my teammates because we had to work together to win.
