- As a Sales Representative, my job was to make calls to everyone I knew and give them some information about what Cutco is and why I chose to work with them. If they were interested in learning more about the product, I would set up an appointment with them, either virtual or in person. During the demo, I would go through a slideshow made by Cutco while I read from a learner's manual. The presentation included pictures of our product, and the manual consisted of practically all the information on prices and about the company. Toward the end of the demo, I ask the client if they are interested in knowing the prices, and I also inform them of any deals we offer if they buy a certain amount. If they agree to purchase anything, I fill out the order for them and have it delivered straight to their home. It typically took one to two weeks to arrive. At the very end of the demo, the customer has the option to send any of their contacts to me as references so I can reach out to them and potentially have another client.
