I am a senior college student in my last semester at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. Upon my graduation in December of this year I will have a Bachelors of Science in Criminology with a Minor in Psychology and a Certificate of Criminal Investigations. I have supported myself the last 3 years by working as a server at Colton's Steakhouse and Texas Roadhouse and have been in positions of leadership by being trusted with counting money and receipts at the end of each evening. While my parents have paid my tuition I have paid for my own apartment and all other living expenses, earning my degree with zero college loans or debt. I have always been an extrovert and clear communicator with a solid moral compass which my parents taught me from my days as a child. I have always been interested in law enforcement since I grew up seeing my police officer father go to work every day in uniform in our Arkansas city in the Ozarks. He is currently in his 38 year of police service, having retired and then returning to work part time as a detective. My mother is a physical therapist and was born in the Czech Republic, because of her I speak the Czech language and have traveled all over Europe since my earliest days. Though I am not perfect and have made my share of mistakes while growing up I have managed to live a moral life and to keep on the straight and narrow, and now that I am finishing my college years. I am ready to move on to a professional career in law enforcement and I can't think of a better place to pursue my vocation than the United States Secret Service. My brother serves in the United States Air Force in Security Forces as a military police office and SWAT team member in TRF (Tactical Response Force) at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana, and I hope to continue that legacy of family service to the citizens of our country as a proud member of the Uniform Division of the U.S. Secret Service.
