*Currently served as an 1199 Union Delegate for several sites across Montefiore campuses since 2017.

*Currently doing a revised training in QSI while assisting in training others.

* Completed Leaders Lab 3.0 with Dr. Fred Garmon in October 2021. In doing this course a better understanding of the following was realized,

*At local church, currently served on the youth board (ages 2years - 35yrs)

* Mentor young ladies ages 13-19 for the past several years.

*A course in Epic training was recently completed in February 2020.

* For several years now an annual orientation is done with GP Residents coming into the Dental department at Montefiore. That orientation packet was single-handedly put together by yours truly and is revised on an annual basis.

*Leadership part one - Leaders Lab completed (September 2018 -December 2018) under the teaching of Dr. Fred Garmon - founder and teacher of Leaders Lab. In doing this program I got an understanding of different leadership styles and when to use them for the success of the organization. For example, there might be days when negotiating is the right approach to leadership and then there are other days when dictating is needed. A 2% trajectory can change the outcome drastically. The course allows me to understand leaders and the people whom they serve in a more positive way.

* With almost 30 years of experience in customers service, skills were developed to help mitigate various situations

* An active community member where I served both Community Education Council (CEC) District 11 since 2017 and the local school since 2014. Here I work with other members to advocate for children across the Bronx Borough. This affords the opportunity to liaison with schools pushing forward for the betterment of these facilities. Another important responsibility has to do with the zoning of schools and closed partnership with the Mayor, School Chancellor, councilman, and other government officials for best practices in the community. For the initiative 'SAVE OUR KIDS' the push for a speed limit around schools, was birth out of the organization. That is in full effect today.

* Have served in the capacity of PTA president for P.S. 121x from July 2015 to June 2017

* Sat on the School leadership team (SLT) for three (3) years. September 2014 - June 2017

* Completed Care Coordination Training at Montefiore Medical Center February 2014, focusing on customers Service, patient Navigation, motivational intervention, and advocacy.
* Special experience in helping patients navigate the insurance system.
* BA in Education classroom teaching experience.

  • Annually conducts orientation for new residents in Montefiore's dental program. This improved efficiency of resident doctors, which in term enhances patients' experience.
