Being a young man of color trying to broaden his career, doing so consist of various work experience to learn skills, work, life, and connects as well. Having a major as competitive as Law and Society, having these skills , experiences and connections will suit me as overall being a more reliable Lawyer and suitable for any position in the future in any field. Therefore, I don't want simply waiting jobs or running jobs, being security in hotels, or various internships, I am a hard worker and I will broaden my brain and knowledge whether it is physically or mentally.
As the son of a former kick boxer, boxing as always been in my blood. However living around jamaica queens, my environment been involved with basketball. Playing varsity basketball as a 8th grader I always been around older more experience players. Which naturally gave me a more mature mindset on and off the court. Heading into my second year of college being around 5'10 spending the efforts of 6 hours a day for a fruitful career in basketball is just rare. Being a realist, I am not currently boxing and working out more to better my health, self defense and maybe pursue that if potential is in the future.
