Became a dance fitness instructor in September 2019 and completed Zumba Basic 1 instructor training in Oceanside, California. Continued training completing Zumba Rhythms 2 instructor training in October 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Sandia Zumba currently leases a gym connected to a local community church, Mountainside United Methodist Church in Cedar Crest, New Mexico. Presently teaching 2 classes of Zumba Fitness per week. Since becoming established in 2019 Sandia Zumba has secured a contract to lease space and provide services to two Bernalillo County facilities; Vista Grande Community Center and Los Vecinos Community Center. Also continued to provide virtual Zumba Fitness classes via Zoom link during the Covid19 pandemic.
