Served in this elected position for 12 years. During that time I served as the Parish President (2016-2019) and Finance Chairman from (2020-2024) overseeing an $80M+ budget. I also served as Personnel Chairman from 2013-2015.The Police Jury is the governing body for Ouachita Parish, a Parish of over 150,000 residents. As President I oversaw all aspects of the Parish operations. I worked with State and Federal officials on a daily basis working to bring funds, projects, and jobs to our Parish. I was the central point of contact and highest elected official in the Parish during any State of Emergency.

  • Directed operations, planning, and administration of Parish departments.
  • Signed contracts, ordinances and other official documentation to execute orders of office.
  • Drafted legislation and amendments, wrote government policies and established budgets.

In 2020 I served as the President of the Association and worked with all Federal, State, and Local officials to navigate the issues facing all Parishes as Covid began.

I sold the majority of my properties in December of 2020. As a licensed realtor, I will also represent both buyers and sellers in residential and commercial transactions.

Selected to represent the Police Jury Association of Louisiana as their President for 2020. Worked with State Officials during the pandemic to navigate the challenges each Parish faced. I served in this role through January 2024 as a board member and past president.

Elected to Police Jury President at the age of 29. The youngest Parish President in Louisiana history.
