I got hired as a drive thru person for taco bell at first when i was 17 , my first year of working here we’ve gone through a lot of Rgm (General Managers) , our district manager loved seeing my smile in drive thru she appreciated my commitment. When I started to get to know everything , my one manager started teaching me simple things about being a manager, and for some reason all these things were just so easy to me and that’s when my district manager created this thing called a team leader because I was too young to be a manager at the time so therefore I was the first ever team lead for taco bell. One of the general managers we had started teaching alot about food cost, complaints, accuracy , bonuses , all the things in the General Manager world. My District Manager and everyone else was getting a little too tired of all these people not working out for this position on running this store. My district manager really wanted me to be the General Manager of that store but I was too young. So for a few months they just didn’t have a General Manager at the store, just a 17 year team leader doing all the trucks , schedules, complaints and more. A week before my birthday My district manager bosses wanted to see me for themselves and ended up loving my dedication and were just so shaken by me that they just gave me the title and honors of running that store. Moral of the story Taco Bell was one of the best jobs that i've had , i've made a lot of family , and created an awesome team. It made me find something that I actually enjoy in life and that’s helping people and making time.
