- Monitoring the production process, diagnostics and analyzing deviations to ensure adherence to set parameters and standards.
- Managing and directly supervising the operations of the metallurgical lab, conducting test works in the lab and physically in the plant, research (literature or practical) to consolidate test results with past report
- Coordinating with technical services on ore quality (grade and recovery) fed in the plant to ensure that good quality material is processed
- Performing administrative duties of the metallurgical lab to operate within budget compliance and ensure that project work resources are available in a timely manner.
- Overseeing compliance with company and industry safety, health and environmental standards within the processing department.
- I was the commissioning metallurgist and managed to successfully design the trommel screen, a by pass system for the CIL tanks and optimized the carbon transfer system.

- Spearheaded plant inspections in accordance with the health and safety regulations and analyzed previous shift information to ensure process continuity.
- Performed troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of process deviations during the shift and implemented preventative and corrective measures to ensure good continuity of operations at shift changeover.
- Coordinated with engineering to attend to equipment breakdowns and recommended process equipment modifications.

- As you will note from my CV I have 5 years of experience working in the mining industry with particular focus on operations management and processes optimization.
