First Year Courses introduces freshmen students to the following:
- Demonstrate problem solving, time management, critical reading, and creative thinking skills
- Identify academic resources and support services available to EKU students
- Explain how EKU’s General Education Program contributes to a liberal education
- Create short- and long-term goals, including financial, major, and career planning
- Identify the value of diversity by developing an appreciation for others and cultural competency
