I currently run the Floral department at East side Safeway at store 1504. My key responsibilities are writing orders, scheduling employees, processing freight, upgrading, arranging flowers and weddings. This year I have brought on average a 7-10 percent increase to our floral shop. I am currently working on getting our distress numbers down. Two quarters ago we were at 9% we are currently at 6%.

I worked as the Floral manager at the West side Safeway at store number 1888. I did processing flowers, order writing, scheduling, merchandising, and Inventories. Increased sales and reduced shrink.

I worked at the West side safeway at store 1888 as the Assistant Produce Manager. My duties included were breaking down loads, putting out freight, knowing how to do back up Inventory, order writing, and spread sheets for sales.

I worked at the East side Safeway at store 1504. My duties included breaking down loads, putting product out on dry tables and wet rack, 

• Followed company guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing all work surfaces and equipment.
• Ensured that the work environment was kept safe, neat and clean at all times.
• Cleaned the shelves and restocked them with new inventory when products were running low.
• Operated different grocery store equipment including balers, power jacks and slicing machines.
• Greeted customers and provided immediate and courteous service at all times.
• Rotated stock to maintain freshness and promote customer purchase.
• Reviewed tags on product shelves to make sure they contained the proper pricing and made price changes when requested by the store manager.

When I first started out with Safeway I was hired on as a courtesy clerk. I did courtesy for 9 months. I then passed my checking course and became a checker. A year and a half in I was promoted to produce clerk.

• Received and unloaded new products when they were delivered, checking them for damage and order accuracy.
• Cleaned the shelves and restocked them with new inventory when products were running low.
• Greeted customers and provided immediate and courteous service at all times.
• Rotated stock to maintain freshness and promote customer purchase.
