Was responsible for the day to day operations of the West Virginia Children's Home. Oversaw counselors and made sure they were meeting with residents as required and properly doing all documentation as required of the facility. Oversaw the scheduling of employees and made sure that staff was compliant with regulations and staff to resident ratios.

Was responsible for creating treatment plans for residents as well as having meaningful contact with residents to discuss their treatment plans and goals, provided monthly progress reports and court reports as needed to the MDT. Occasionally was required to work as floor staff when resident/staff ratios could not be met. Worked as a liaison the the DHHR workers and the resident;s family

Was involved in planning and delivering socially necessary programs to youth and their families through outside agencies. Responsible for finding and securing suitable placement facilities for youth that were non-compliant with services, probation or the Courts. Responsible for maintaining monthly checks on all clients and providing necessary reports and meeting to the state and federal obligations

Worked with clients referred by the WV DHHR by providing socially necessary services, these services included individual parenting, adult living skills, supervision of households, child oriented activities and family crisis response.

Worked with middle and elementary students in the Barbour Co. area teaching education with the Too Good for Drugs and Too Good for violence programs

Responsible for staffing the field with appropriate number of staff, charged with overseeing the day to day activities, maintaining the safety and welfare of up to 16 teenage youth in the wilderness and Alldredge staff. Taught staff and students Red Cross First Aid/CPR. Was a trained Search and Rescue Technician, taught staff and youth search and rescue techniques. Also a Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention trainer
