I Provide specialized nursing care to medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization, managing daily patient assignments based on acuity and clinical needs. Interpret and implement physician orders, perform comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and recognize changes in clinical condition. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized, patient-centered care, support admissions and discharges, and promote continuity of care. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions while maintaining accurate documentation and strict adherence to infection prevention, isolation precautions, patient safety, and regulatory standards.
