Dedicated youth advocate with expertise in relationship building, mentoring, and behavioral support. Focused on developing individualized support plans and facilitating engaging programs to foster positive youth development.
During my summer internship at the Kupferberg Holocaust Center, I supported educational programming and visitor engagement in a museum setting focused on Holocaust history and human rights. I served as a greeter and guide, helping visitors navigate exhibits, use audio tours, and better understand the historical content presented.
In addition to interacting with visitors, I conducted research on topics related to Holocaust education and developed a research paper exploring key historical themes, strengthening my analytical and writing skills. I also assisted with administrative and day-to-day operations, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the Center’s programs and outreach efforts.
Through this experience, I built strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills while gaining a deeper understanding of how educational institutions use history to promote awareness, empathy, and social responsibility.
