Responding to crisis situations

Working closely with case management and community partners to help individuals get into stable housing

Making sure all intake paperwork is in compliance and meets DHS requirements

Making sure the shelter is staffed with adequate staffing to keep the shelter open

• Coach and mentor a team of Family Achievement Coaches (not to exceed 5 coaches) to be “belief-setters” while effectively promoting goal setting and achievement planning for all households on the roster.
• Ensure successful daily operations within the anchor site as well as verify enrollments for accuracy.

• Connect families with stabilization resources
• Provide direction to assist with family goal achievements
• Ongoing communication with a 34-family caseload

• Support NAZ primary participants in setting and reaching their achievement goals, and connecting with the supports (caseworkers, teachers, academic interventions, counselors, etc.) to achieve goals.
• Help families access and align family wrap-around resources from NAZ partners to support family success plans.

Facilitate a parent education class for parents with scholars from birth through 8th grade

Teaches you how to be a leader within a non-profit organization

Teaches parents how to rebuild relationships with their children after trauma

Helps people explore and resolve mixed feelings. Using empathy and guided questioning to help a person discover their own internal motivation
