* The primary responsibility of this position is to provide supervision and direction to the direct support professionals. Along with the manager, this position is responsible for providing comprehensive staff training and active monitoring, a programming and services to ensure that active treatment and quality services are provided for all individuals.

* Assist in providing timely orientation training for new Staff and ongoing training for veterans staff.

* Monitors that (staff) complete all agency training requirements as outlined in the employee training handbook

* Assist staff in completing the medication certification process

* Assist in developing staff shift schedules and keeps within approved hours

* Assist in ensuring that each shift has a medication technician

* Assist in providing backup for staff absences. Notifies the program manager of the need for additional staff and overtime pay approval.
