Shiv Patel

I am from Dallas, TX where I grew up for 10 years. At about age 12, my dad moved my twin brother and I to bowie where he was raising us as a single father. We got a small motel right off the highway and after a couple of years we grew and eventually my dad got remarried and got a couple more hotels, still keeping the one in bowie as a memory from where we started. I graduated from Bowie High School with a 3.8 GPA where I joined my schools powerlifting team (Junior - Senior) and was the fitness coordinator my senior year. I also played Varsity Tennis (sophomore - senior) and was the team captain my junior year. I started working and helping out at a young age doing all kinds of work. I officially started working at Best Western during 2023, but I was in and out of this hotel and others my whole life. I have done proper training at 3 of the few hotels that we have on hwy 287.

My life socially is just as eventful as my professional life. I have been apart of SLPS my whole life. SLPS Gujarati Samaj refers to a community organization for people of the LPS of Gujaratis

- The group promotes Indian culture and heritage, and provides a platform for social networking among its members.

Currently I play desi volleyball where it is a different type of sport, but still competitive. It's played back home and all over the U.S. with SLPS hosting gaam tournament which usually brings in 10-15k people in Dallas full of gujus. Providing many connections with other youths and members.

Other than that I like to hangout with my friends, party, play games, and workout in my free time.
