My teaching philosophy is grounded in accessibility, relevance, and student empowerment. Over the past eight years, I have taught as an online adjunct professor with Axia College, the University of Phoenix, and the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), delivering courses in business, leadership, logistics, and organizational strategy. My teaching experience spans undergraduate and graduate levels, with a strong emphasis on adult learners, working professionals, and diverse student populations. In online environments, I focus on creating structured, interactive, and supportive learning spaces. I use discussion-based engagement, real-world case studies, and scenario-driven assignments to help students connect academic concepts to practical application. My approach emphasizes clarity, responsiveness, and individualized feedback—critical components of successful online instruction. As a 26-year military logistician and senior executive, I bring practitioner-scholar depth to the classroom. I integrate lessons from global operations, multinational coordination, crisis response, and strategic planning to enrich student understanding. This real-world perspective helps students develop critical thinking skills and prepares them for leadership roles in complex, dynamic environments.
