Additional Information

As Class President, I often have to work under pressure to meet deadlines and work with others well. I must use teamwork in my everyday duties/activities. I have gone to leadership camps and I force myself out of my comfort zone to ensure that I do well in everything I set out to achieve.
As a member of Student Council and National Honors Society, I have learned leadership skills, how to work with various groups of people, how to meet important deadlines, and how to work under pressure.
I have been playing sports since I was very young and volleyball, more than any other sport teaches the skill that I often lacked, which was communication. Now, since playing volleyball for years, I have developed this skill and what was once my weakness, has now become one of my strongest skill sets. Volleyball has taught me to be able to work under any coach/employer and has taught me how to work with any team mate that I am put with. Not only are these skills necessary for the game, nut also necessary for the workforce.
