RME Instrument Coordinator

- Responsible for all RME within the hospital including the clinics.
- Participates in clinic rounds with the educator to assist in verifying that service-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up to date and being implemented by the staff.
- Active participant in the RME committee.
- Responsible for making sure all staff are competent in handling new RME prior to its official release. This includes ensuring SOPs are verified and documented.
- Reviews, monitors, and provides guidance in regard to all RME within the facility.
- Responsible for developing and reviewing SOPs to ensure they are up to date and follow manufacturers' IFUs.
- Provides guidance and educates all hospital staff on current and new RME to ensure that standards are being adhered to.
- Responsible for RME on SharePoint.
- Responsible for ordering and keeping inventory of all surgical instrumentation.
- Monitors Loanerlink, ensures vendor trays are checked in Censitrac and processed on time for surgical procedures.
- Submits SEPGs, EERs, and SBARs for all RME.

- Serves as a liaison to the O.R. staff and clinics to ensure that day-to-day issues get resolved in a timely manner.

- Responsible for working with multiple vendors to ensure that they stay in compliance with our facility's directive on loaner trays.
- Participates in and assists with required yearly inspections.

- Works alongside MSTs when needed, and acts as a resource.
- Works daily to complete missing instrument trays.
- Manages the Fund Control Point for instrumentation being sure to stay within the quarterly budget.
- Responsible for laser etching instrumentation and entering them into Censitrac.
- Responsible for creating new instrument trays and editing exsisting instrument trays based on the clinics and O.R. needs.
