I am an undergraduate first-year student at the University of Pittsburgh with a growing interest in behavioral research and animal observation. My curiosity stems from a lifelong love of nature and a desire to understand how behavior reflects adaptation, understanding, and social interactions across species. I'm particularly interested in observing the cognitive and social changes of primate species when influenced by human activity. Through my Anthropology and Environmental Science courses, I have developed a strong passion for limiting human impact on primate species through conservation. I am writing to inquire about potential openings in your lab this coming spring semester. Based on my current schedule and workload, I am able to commit approximately ten hours a week to research in the spring semester of 2027. I am available to discuss any further opportunities of research, and for more guidance through the process of behavioral and observational research. Any opportunity to participate would be greatly appreciated, and I am eager to deepen my understanding of research methods and primate species.
