With 13 years of experience in disability advocacy, fund management, and claims processing, relocated to the U.S. in December 2013. Completed a graduate degree in Healthcare Management from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2016 to expand knowledge and skills. Since 2017, volunteering at Texas Children's Hospital has provided invaluable hands-on experience, leading to a full-time role in April 2024, excelling in coordinating activities and collaborating with diverse teams. Additional training in customer relationship management and clinical terminology has further enhanced the skill set. Personal leadership definition is integrity, vision, people, and respect. A gap in employment was dedicated to child-rearing, volunteering, and education, significantly sharpening leadership and organizational abilities. Now eager to leverage extensive experience to positively impact the organization.

Sirina has a passion for volunteering and has contributed to various causes, such as organizing teacher appreciation gifts, assisting with field trips, and supporting school programs at her children's preschool. She also volunteered at Texas Children's Hospital from 2017 until she became a permanent staff member in April 2024, taking on roles in different departments. Currently, she volunteers as a PTO member at her children's elementary school, participating in field day and teacher appreciation events.
Sirina enjoys organizing events and spaces, which led to a 60% reduction in retrieval time of items at Texas Children's Hospital, West Campus patient toy storage. She loves reading both fiction and nonfiction, especially with her children, fostering their love for reading.
Sirina also stays informed on healthy living and personal development, recently learning of the digestive benefits of cumin seed tea and also researching ways to foster team spirit; concluding that allowing team members to first (depending on the issue) deliberate and problem-solve amongst themselves before escalating to the next level aids in building strong teams.
