I was chosen to be student council in 6th grade. I would actively show up about an hour early for school to meet with other student representatives of our different homeroom classes. We would come together and brainstorm to promote the support for our local fundraisers and helping the less fortunate. "Toys for Tots" Is just an example of many. Executed ideas for our peers to come together as a community and get involved.
