Gender Justice- Gender Based Crimes

• Studied several cases to understand the role of international Criminal Court, as it related to gender based crimes/ violence to gain an understanding of the way proceedings at that level take place
• Introduced to the Rome Statute and its effect on the prosecution of gender based crimes

Crime and Punishment

• Examined justifications for punishment and proper sentencing
• Evaluated and constructed ideas regarding prison reform policies
• Reviewed the historical context of the death penalty and the prohibition of other forms of punishments
• Conducted research on crime and punishment based on different philosophers' views
