The Peninsula Golf & Country Club is a private resort community artfully sculpted amid 800 acres along the Indian River Bay in Millsboro, Delaware. Proudly managed by Troon Priv, a subdivision of Troon, The Peninsula offers a full complement of world-class amenities including an 18 hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, a new state of the art Clubhouse built in 2016, fine dining and casual dining, a Golf Shop with a golf simulator room, an Athletic Club, Calmwater Spa, several pools including a wave pool, nature center and trails, a private beach, kids activity areas and more.

We are seeking both a full-time and part-time concierge to join our Athletic Club team! Enjoy your very own concierge station located near the main entrance. If you are detailed oriented, well organized and can multitask in a fast pace environment, this position is for you! We're offering competitive wages, 401k Plan, and staff gym/golf privileges. General Purpose:

Performs concierge and administrative duties in association with and as directed by the Athletic Club or Department Manager.

Essential Duties:

* Performs various concierge duties for the athletic club and manager such as filing, answering phones and requests, taking messages, making reservations, and other similar tasks.
* Assists members and guests with kayak, bicycle, paddle boards, cabana bed reservations as well as pickup schedules and ensures additional equipment such as oars and lifejackets are distributed based on service.
* Performs clerical duties that may include updating reservation system and spreadsheets, composing routine correspondence and emails, copying, updating information and taking notes.
* Distributes daily information to appropriate amenities, managers and/or members and guests.
* Answers telephone and assist the members and guests with information about the department, its amenities, rentals and/or facility.
* Prepares summaries and reports.
* Completes special projects and related duties as assigned by the department manager or other managers.
* Assists the front desk and indoor/outdoor pool check in stations when scheduled; assists with spa appointment bookings, scanning in members and guests and selling merchandise.
* Uses point of sales system and other computer functions for several duties.
* Assists with guest rental packets and coordinates with the Membership Director. These are arranged for outside guests renting properties here at The Peninsula. The packets will include recreation information, spa services information, amenity information and pool/gym passes.
* Assists with cleaning, sanitation and wipe down procedures due to safety and Covid-19 prevention.
* Regular and reliable attendance.
* Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

* Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
* Knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel helpful.
* Exceptional organizations skills; maintains accuracy and neatness; ability to multitask.
* Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to compose letters and to facilitate phone calls and general inquiries sensibly.
