Jacksonville

Summary

I was employed with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office as a Community Service Officer (C.S.O) for5 years (2008-2013). During that time I have gained experience in serving the community, conflict resolution and computer knowledge. I discovered an interest for helping people. The primary responsibility of a C.S.O is to respond to non-criminal calls and assist the public with various services in the substation. Duties involved responding to car crashes, some which resulted in injuries to civilians and high stress situations. This required me to be compassionate and quickly contact necessary resources. Moving forward with an open mind for a change in careers, I believe it is valuable to uphold qualities such as; loyalty, integrity, good work ethic and ability to work with a team. In 2013, the agency experienced a budget cut and all C.S.O’s were laid off. At that time, I decided to stay at home with my children and focus on my family during (2013-current). Authorized to work in the US for any employer
